Crude Oil Pipelines

U.S. Map of Crude Oil Pipelines

Recent news related to the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) persuaded me to look into the public data around Crude Oil Pipelines in the US, which lead me to the Energy Information Administration (EIA.gov). They have a bunch of interesting maps, but couldn’t find a map specific to Crude Oil pipelines.

There are, however, a handful of great maps focused on the recent DAPL events so go check them out too.

These pipelines have a vulnerability to ‘seam quality issues’ (leakage).
